Iranian President Masoud Pezeşkian has proposed the creation of a “CIS+1” format to deepen cooperation between the CIS and Tehran.
This was reported by the “Fars” agency, citing the Iranian President’s speech at the CIS summit.
Pezeşkian stated that the “member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States + Iran”, or “CIS+1” format, should be created as a flexible and effective mechanism for dialogue and cooperation.
According to the Iranian President, this format can serve to further deepen mutual relations between the CIS countries and Iran. (apa)
