Members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a meeting at the State Agency for Safe Industrial Operations and Mining Supervision of the Ministry.

It was stated that the meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry, Irada Karimova, the Deputy Head of the Agency, Asif Mammadov, and responsible officials, the Chairman of the Public Council, Fuad Hajizadeh, and members of the Council.
The purpose of holding the event was to exchange views on issues within the agency’s purview and to discuss its areas of activity.
During the meeting, the Deputy Head of the Agency, Asif Mammadov, spoke about the work done to ensure reliable safety in industrial and mining activities, provided detailed information about the preventive measures taken to identify and prevent potential hazards in advance, and touched upon the importance of public oversight in this regard.
The meeting extensively discussed the high level of safety in the industrial and mining sectors, the organization of production processes in accordance with the requirements of legislation and safety standards, the timely identification and elimination of existing risks, and the measures taken to prevent industrial accidents and incidents. At the same time, the current situation in the relevant sectors and the main tasks ahead were reviewed, and an exchange of views was held on compliance with safety requirements, strengthening preventive measures, and minimizing risks.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the event, and questions of interest to the Council members were answered by the Agency’s specialists.
