Deputy Minister of Economy, Samad Bashirli, met with Gerlind Heckmann, Head of the Sub-Department for Foreign Economic Promotion and Financing for Ukraine, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.

It was emphasized that there is great potential for expanding economic relations between the two countries. In this regard, the importance of diversifying relations, strengthening cooperation between the parties, and effectively utilizing opportunities for the implementation of new joint projects was noted.
During the meeting, steps to be taken to support effective partnership in the energy sector, including cooperation in the fields of industry and technology, and coordination of ongoing initiatives in this area were discussed. The Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council, as well as the meetings of the Germany-Azerbaijan High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investments, and other agenda items were discussed.
