English club “Arsenal” intends to transfer striker Julián Álvarez from Spanish club “Atletico Madrid”.
elchi reports, citing the “TEAMtalk” publication, that the London representative is preparing to send a new official offer for the Argentine striker in January.
The “Gunners” plan to include striker Viktor Gyökeres or winger Noni Madueke in the transfer deal. The 26-year-old striker, who previously preferred to play for “Barcelona”, is reportedly seriously considering the “Arsenal” option now.
“Atletico Madrid” management has stated that they will not allow the member of the Argentine national team to transfer to “Barcelona”. Therefore, if X. Álvarez leaves the Madrid club, he will effectively have to continue his career in the English Premier League.
