Annual inflation in the Eurozone reached 3.8% in September, which is 0.6 percentage points higher than in August.

Among the main components of inflation, the highest increase was recorded in energy prices. In September, energy prices rose by 18.8% year-on-year. In August, this figure was 14.3%.
Service prices increased by 3.2%. In the previous month, the increase was 3%. The annual increase in prices of food, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco rose to 1.4%. In August, this figure was 1.1%.
Conversely, the increase in the prices of industrial goods, excluding energy, weakened from 1.2% to 1.1%.
