“Dawn”: 2 Pakistanis killed in firing by Indian border guards

In Kasur (Pakistan), 2 Pakistanis were killed and 1 injured in firing by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in the border area.

“Elchi” reports that the newspaper “Dawn” disseminated information based on sources in the security services.

According to them, after 3 residents of the village of Ladhar moved a few steps away from the border post, Indian border guards opened fire on them without warning.

Sources claim that these 3 individuals were unarmed and did not attempt to cross the border fence.

Pakistani sources have assessed the incident as a violation of the border agreement and standard procedures regulating the border between Pakistan and India.

Indian media have presented the deceased as individuals suspected of attempting to cross the border. Pakistan side rejects this version.
