Ferran Torres leaves the Spanish national team camp

Ferran Torres, a footballer for the Spanish national team and French club PSG, has left the national team camp.

“Elchi” reports that the information was released by the press service of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

The 26-year-old forward experienced discomfort in his left ankle. This problem initially did not prevent him from participating in training and matches. However, due to persistent pain, it was decided that the footballer would return to his club.

It was noted that Torres’s rehabilitation will be prioritized. RFEF doctors have been in constant contact with PSG’s medical staff, and the footballer’s condition has been jointly monitored.

Head coach Luis de la Fuente has called up U-21 national team player Carlos Espin to the main squad to replace Torres.

The Spanish national team will host the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League on October 3rd. The team will then face Croatia away on October 6th.
