The VI Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition “ADEX-2026” and the XV Anniversary International Exhibition “Securex Caspian” on Internal Security, Protection, and Rescue Equipment, which will last for three days, are being held at the Baku Expo Center.
elchi reports that the event was held on the initiative and organization of the Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan, with the organizational support of the “Caspian Event Organisers” company.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in Azerbaijan, delegations from foreign countries, and representatives of other relevant bodies are participating in the exhibition.
The “BARS” FPV UAV, a locally produced weapon, was demonstrated for the first time at the exhibition. The UAV, weighing three kilograms, can move at a speed of 20 km per hour.
The main purpose of the UAV is defensive. “BARS” is designed to neutralize fixed-wing UAVs and FPV drones.
In addition, the “Qartal” military-tactical reconnaissance and mortar UAV was also exhibited for the first time. The unmanned aerial vehicle, weighing 13 kilograms, operates within a 15-kilometer radius and performs missions autonomously as determined by the operator.
The locally produced “Qartal” UAV can also accurately determine the coordinates of targets from a distance of 1,500 meters.
The “Arrow 3” drone, produced in 2026, is also being showcased for the first time at the ADEX 2026 exhibition.
The Arrow 3 drone can fly up to 150-200 km and destroys its target upon impact.
