Today, the Azerbaijan-Slavic Youth Association (ASGA), with the support of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations, held its next event in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, within the framework of the project “Joint Initiatives of Azerbaijani-Czech Youth”. The event took place at “Opero Rooms Plaza”, one of the city’s famous conference centers. The event was attended by the ASGA chairman, businessmen, Czech students, and Azerbaijani youth studying in Prague.
Opening the event, ASGA chairman Sabuhi Abbasov stated that the event was held within the framework of the “Joint Initiatives of Azerbaijani-Czech Youth” project. S. Abbasov delivered a report on the topic “Prague and Baku: similarities and differences”. He also thanked the leadership and the Supervisory Board of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations for their support.
Then, Onur Novruzov, a student of Economics and Finance at the Masaryk Institute of the Czech Technical University, spoke about the importance of building inter-student relations. He noted the importance of Azerbaijanis living in the Czech Republic standing in solidarity for the interests of our country, in addition to their education and work.
Firat Karyagdi, a young Turkish student studying Economics and Finance at the Czech Technical University, spoke about the importance of joint activities of Turkish and Azerbaijani youth in the field of diaspora.
Narmin Abbasova, head of KLNK Group LLC, spoke about the importance of joint activities of the youth of both countries in the field of entrepreneurship.
Afterwards, a video prepared within the framework of WUF13 was presented to the youth. The event continued in a Q&A and discussion format.
In the end, all participants were presented with certificates, caps, t-shirts, and gifts brought from Azerbaijan.
For information, it should be noted that on May 21, 2026, an event on “Sustainable Urban Planning: Azerbaijan and European Experience” was held by the “Azerbaijan-Slavic Youth Association” PU (ASGA) within the framework of the mentioned project at the NGO Agency’s pavilion at “WUF13 Urban Expo” with the support of the Agency.
