In connection with September 27 – Remembrance Day, employees of the Air Transport Customs Office visited the family of Patriotic War martyrs, brothers Iman and Bahram Mammadzadeh, before the event. Customs officers laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial monument erected in memory of the martyrs and expressed their respect for their cherished memory.
“Elchi” reports that later, the father of the martyr brothers, Elman ata, was invited as a guest of honor to the official event organized at the Air Transport Customs Office in connection with Remembrance Day.
The event began with a minute of silence to honor the cherished memory of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Opening the event with introductory remarks, the administration spoke about the history of the 44-day Patriotic War and the unparalleled bravery shown by our people and army. It was noted that the historic Victory won under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief was achieved at the cost of the blood of our martyrs and the lives of our veterans, and their memory will always be held in high esteem.
Afterward, a video about the Patriotic War was shown, and reports dedicated to the martyr brothers Iman and Bahram Mammadzadeh were presented.
Speaking at the event, Elman ata expressed his gratitude for the attention and respect shown, emphasizing that the love for the Motherland is above all else. During the speeches, Vusala khanim Aliyeva, the wife of Patriotic War Hero Anar Aliyev and an employee of the department, as well as Patriotic War participant Famil Malikov, also shared their combat memories and expressed their feelings of pride.
