Traffic will be restricted on many streets and roads of the capital

Due to repair works being carried out in Baku, partial or full restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be applied on a number of streets and roads of the capital starting from tomorrow until August 3.

“Elchi” reports that the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has released information regarding this.

It was stated that the movement of vehicles on the side road of the outer circular highway (in the direction of Shamakhi, from Farman Salmanov Street to Asad Ahmadov Street) will be completely restricted from 06:00 on August 1 to 06:00 on August 3.

At the same time, the road will be completely closed on Sheikh Shamil Street (from H. Seyidbayli Street to Istiglaliyyat Street) and Lermontov Street (from Bunyad Sardarov Street to Sheikh Shamil Street) from August 1 to 3.

In some directions, roads have already been closed. Thus, the movement of vehicles has been partially restricted on Mikayil Mushfig Street (from Matbuat Avenue to Parliament Avenue) and Shikhali Gurbanov Street (from Fuzuli Street to Salatin Asgarova Street) since 20:00 on July 31. The restriction will continue until 06:00 on August 3.

AAYDA has advised drivers to plan their routes in advance, use alternative roads, and strictly follow the requirements of temporary road signs installed in the areas where repairs are being carried out.
