“Armenia is committed to an open and transparent position regarding the implementation of the ‘Trump route’ (TRIPP) project and is ready to answer Iran’s questions regarding all concerns that may arise.”
“Elchi” reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this.
While answering a question about Iran’s concerns regarding the “Trump route”, the Prime Minister emphasized that this is a very large economic and infrastructure project and will be beneficial for Armenia, Iran, and the region as a whole:
“The implementation of the project will allow for the opening of a railway from the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea, passing through the territories of Azerbaijan, Iran, Armenia, and Georgia.”
Nikol Pashinyan added that the date of his official visit to Iran has not yet been determined:
“Relevant agreements have already been reached, but specific dates have not yet been set.”
