Two earthquakes measuring 5.7 and 5.8 magnitude have occurred in Qinghai province, northwestern China.
“Elchi” reports that, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), two earthquakes of 5.7 and 5.8 magnitude were recorded in a sparsely populated, high-altitude area approximately 244 kilometers from Xining, the capital of Qinghai province.
The first earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, took place at 11:16 local time, and the second at 11:34.
No statements have been made yet regarding casualties, injuries, or damage caused by the earthquakes.
