A delegation led by Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University (NDU) of the Republic of Türkiye, met with Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Naval Forces, during their visit to Azerbaijan.

It was noted that during the meeting, the delegation was provided with detailed information about the history, activities, combat readiness, and professional development of personnel of the Naval Forces, and questions of interest were answered.
Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş wrote his heartfelt words in the memorial book.
The delegation, which arrived at the N military unit of the Naval Forces, became acquainted with the weapons and technical equipment of the naval special forces.
Then, in accordance with the plan, the Turkish guests visited the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, operating under the National Defense University (NDU). The delegation was informed about the educational process.
The guests became acquainted with the conditions created in the territory and administrative buildings of the educational institution, met with Turkish cadets studying there, and inquired about their educational process, social and living conditions, and general level of training.
Later, the Turkish representatives visited the War Games Center of the Military Administration Institute of the National Defense University. A briefing was presented to the Turkish guests on the activities carried out at the center and the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of military education.
At the end of the meetings, mutual gifts were presented, and commemorative photos were taken.
