New authority is being granted to the Chamber of Accounts.
“Elchi” reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law “On the Chamber of Accounts,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, the Chamber of Accounts will also provide opinions on the draft budget and execution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as on relevant draft laws and annual reports.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
