Tehran will begin negotiations on a final agreement with Washington only after the implementation of several points of the Iran-US memorandum.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Esmail Baghaei.
“There must be a purpose and necessity for a meeting with the US. If we are talking about the start of negotiations on a final agreement, it depends on the implementation of points 1, 5, 10, and 11 of the memorandum of understanding. In the coming days, we must evaluate the current process and decide when to start negotiations on the final agreement,” he said at a press conference.
