Previously, on June 29, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that U.S.-Iran talks would be held in the Qatari capital on June 30. “Iran wanted to meet this week, so special envoy Witkoff and Jared Kushner will fly to Doha to hold high-level meetings,” he said on the air of the “Fox News” channel.
Leavitt added that technical negotiations will also be held in Doha.
