Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev has been awarded in Uzbekistan.

It was noted that on June 22, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliyev, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country.
According to the information, the head of state specifically noted the effective activities of the Azerbaijani ambassador, as well as his personal contributions to the deepening of alliance and strategic partnership relations between our states. Regular dialogue has been ensured at the highest and other levels. Significant progress has been recorded in the trade and economic sectors: the volume of trade turnover has increased significantly in recent years, 280 companies with Azerbaijani capital have started operating, and a Joint Investment Company has been established. At the end of the meeting, considering his services in strengthening multifaceted Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations, the President of Uzbekistan presented Huseyn Guliyev with the “Mehnat shuhrati” order.
In his turn, the ambassador expressed his deep gratitude to the country’s leader for the high appreciation of his diplomatic mission, as well as for the full support provided for the expansion of comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
