Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the “In the Footsteps of Azerbaijan’s Nature” exhibition, held at the Seaside National Park within the framework of the “Explore Azerbaijan with IDEA” project.
“Elchi” reports that the exhibition showcases photographs of 30 fauna species captured in various national parks of Azerbaijan by the project’s photographer and videographer Saleh Bakhshiyev. A large portion of the presented fauna species are included in the “Red Book” of Azerbaijan.
The exhibition, organized on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, is held in partnership with the IDEA Public Union, the Seaside Boulevard Administration, and the Baku Zoological Park. During the exhibition, which will last for one month, city residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to get acquainted with photographs reflecting the rich biodiversity of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the main goal of the “Explore Azerbaijan with IDEA” project, which began its activities in 2025 on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, is to promote the unique beauty of Azerbaijan’s wildlife to local and international audiences, as well as to form a multimedia database reflecting the unique richness of our country’s nature.
