On August 26, a traditional meeting with participants of the Patriotic War was held at the “Bilgah” Recreation Center of the State Security Service (SSS).
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the SSS Press Service, the guests first familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the center and viewed an exhibition of paintings by the children of SSS employees.
After observing a minute of silence in memory of our martyrs who heroically died for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and playing the National Anthem, the official part of the event was declared open.
The speakers spoke in detail about the glorious Victory won in the 44-day Patriotic War, thanks to the leadership and decisive command of the head of state, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the bravery and determination of the invincible Azerbaijani Army, as well as the anti-terror operations that resulted in the restoration of state sovereignty. It was especially emphasized that the achieved historical victory evokes a sense of endless pride and honor in every Azerbaijani, and that it will be passed on to future generations as a true example of heroism.
At the same time, it was noted that the important projects implemented by our country over the years since the Patriotic War, as well as the large-scale restoration and construction work carried out in the liberated territories, have once again demonstrated the strength and will of our people to the whole world.
After the official part, the event, which continued with musical performances on patriotic themes by well-known art figures, concluded with the taking of commemorative photographs.
