Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev received residents of Gabala and Oghuz districts in Gabala.
According to the information provided to APA by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, before the reception, Anar Aliyev and the Head of the Gabala District Executive Authority, Sabuhi Abdullayev, visited the monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
It was noted that during the reception, citizens addressed issues related to employment, disability, targeted social assistance, provision of rehabilitation equipment, etc. Among those who applied were members of martyrs’ families and war participants. Each application was investigated individually, and measures were taken according to the results. Explanations were provided in accordance with the legislation regarding inquiries. Based on their applications, citizens were registered for participation in active employment programs, as well as the self-employment program.
After the reception, small farms established for Gabala residents Shahla Chingiz gizi Verdiyeva and Pari Dunyamali gizi Rajabaliyeva within the framework of the self-employment program were inspected. With the support of the self-employment program, by providing assets, a women’s beauty salon was established for Shahla Verdiyeva, and a small family business for the production of flour products was set up for Pari Rajabaliyeva. They expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to unemployed and job-seeking persons to enable their access to small businesses and to create their own farms.
It was noted that in the past period, farms have been established for nearly 1,950 people in the Gabala district within the framework of the self-employment program. Services provided to children at the day-care center established in Gabala based on the order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry were reviewed. The center carries out work for the psychosocial rehabilitation of children from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities, and for them to acquire daily life skills, as well as basic reading and writing skills.
Services provided at the Agency’s Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center were also inspected. The facility provides complex medical-social rehabilitation services to children with disabilities in outpatient and inpatient forms, based on effective physiotherapeutic methods and using modern equipment.
