A truck carrying Afghan refugees returning from Pakistan has fallen into a river in Laghman province. As a result of the incident, at least four people have died, eight people have been injured, and 10 others are considered missing.
elchi reports that “ArianaNews” provided this information citing the country’s Ministry of Defense.
An official from the “Khalid bin Walid” army corps, Wahidullah Mohammadi, stated that the incident occurred around midnight on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway, in the Khayroxel area of the Sarhakan district.
Rescue teams and relevant specialists were immediately dispatched to the scene, and heavy military equipment and auxiliary vehicles were utilized.
Officials added that the truck has already been recovered from the river.
