Two months ago, the situation here was completely different. It was almost like a desert. But today, ten pitches that meet all FIFA standards have been built. Great effort has been put into this project.
elchi reports, citing azerisport.com, that AFFA Deputy Secretary General’s advisor Ramazan Samadov said this while talking about the construction work at the new football complex in Hovsan.
“These pitches will contribute to the development of children’s and youth football in the future. Gianni Infantino (FIFA President – ed.) noted during his last visit that he had never seen such high quality achieved in such a short period. Two of the pitches will be equipped with stands with a capacity of 100 spectators, while the others will have a capacity of slightly more than 50 spectators. FIFA did not require this, but we decided to do it anyway,” R. Samadov said.
