An “open door day” event was held at the Neftchala District State Fire Protection Unit, organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the information provided by the Ministry to “Elchi”, the “Open Door Day” was organized for the participants of the “Young Cadres – Neftchala Youth Development Program” of the New Azerbaijan Party. The purpose of the event was to contribute to the comprehensive development of young people, their physical and mental well-being, the formation of a culture of safe living, as well as basic fire safety knowledge, and to increase the level of awareness about the professional activities of firefighters.
During the “Open Door Day” event, participants were given detailed information about the daily routine rules of firefighters and the activities of the units. They were shown the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment and a part of the staff’s daily training exercises.
Also, the participants became closely acquainted with the necessary fire extinguishing and other rescue equipment used during emergency situations and were informed about safe behavior rules during emergencies.
