The National Depository Center has disclosed the number of unique bank shareholders for the first time.

According to the information, as of September 1 of this year, 41,102 individuals and 104 legal entities, totaling 41,206 persons, held shares in Azerbaijani banks.
The total value of shares held by individual unique bank shareholders is 1 billion 298 million 994 thousand 948 manats, and the total value of shares held by legal entities is 3 billion 217 million 803 thousand 806 manats. Thus, the total value of shares in the sector is 4 billion 516 million 798 thousand 754 manats.
