The Baku City Zoological Park (Zoo) is being liquidated and merged into the newly created “Stray Animal Care Center” Limited Liability Company in the capital.
“Elchi” reports that this was noted in the Order signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov to ensure the implementation of the Presidential Decree “On improving the structure and management of the Baku City Executive Power”.
According to the Order, the Baku City Executive Power, in coordination with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and other relevant agencies, must submit proposals to the government within two months regarding the reorganization of the Baku City Zoological Park through its merger with the Stray Animal Care Center.
