Flash floods in Nepal’s Kaski district have destroyed homes, bridges, and infrastructure, with four people reported missing.
“Elchi”, citing The Kathmandu Post, reported that the disaster occurred on the morning of October 11 in the Budhi-Gandaki river.
The strong current washed away several houses, two suspension pedestrian bridges, and a motorable bridge.
In addition, the flood caused significant damage to the construction site of the Budhi Gandaki hydropower project, destroying some equipment.
Search and rescue operations are underway at the scene.
