The Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decision “On the payment of housing rental expenses for employees of state bodies working or serving in the liberated territories and the regulation of some issues related to this.”
According to the news from “Elchi”, it has been established according to the decision:
– A monthly amount of 100 AZN will be paid for housing rent for employees of state bodies working or serving in the liberated territories whose registration address is located more than 50 km away from the place of work (service) (this condition is not taken into account for military personnel);
– The intended funds will be paid for only one of the family members working or serving in the liberated territories;
– An additional amount of 50 AZN will be paid for each family member living with the intended persons, not exceeding 3 people.
Heads of state bodies have been instructed to ensure that information about the number of persons indicated in this decision as of July 1 of each year is submitted to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in coordination with the special representations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan operating in the liberated territories or the entities operating in the field of management of multi-apartment buildings in the relevant territory.
The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to provide funds in the draft state budget each year for the payment of housing rental expenses for the persons indicated under centralized expenditures. At the same time, it shall ensure the payment of the relevant funds to the relevant authorized bodies based on the agreed reconciliation act regarding the number of intended persons between the relevant authorized bodies and the relevant state bodies for each month, and ensure that the volume of targeted funds projected for the implementation of designated measures at the expense of the state budget by public legal entities carrying out restoration, construction, and management services in the relevant territory is reduced by the amount of funds to be paid for housing rent according to this Decision during the preparation of the draft state budget.
This decision enters into force on January 1, 2027.
