On the next day of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, a dialogue session titled “Transformation of informal settlements and slums: housing provision for the world” was organized.
elchi reports that the session is attended by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach, as well as government officials and international experts from various countries.
The discussions focus on the renewal of informal settlements, financing of housing projects, land rights, social inclusivity, and the role of states in this field.
