MES suspends operation of liquid gas filling station – PHOTO/VIDEO

The State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take necessary measures within its authority to ensure safety in industrial and mining operations.

This was reported to elchi by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In this context, inspectors from the Agency conducted a scheduled inspection at a liquid gas filling station owned by individual entrepreneur Mehdiyev Sardar Rahbar oglu, operating in Nij settlement, Gabala district.

During the inspection, violations that could pose a threat to human life and health were discovered at the station.

Specifically, it was determined that the internal inspection and hydraulic testing of one liquid gas tank in operation had not been conducted, the safety valves installed on the liquid gas tank, the rubber hoses used for discharging liquid gas from tankers into stationary containers and filling cylinders, and other equipment had not been periodically checked, and the grounding resistance of the liquid gas filling station’s buildings and equipment had not been measured.

Considering that the identified deficiencies could not be eliminated immediately and that they posed a danger to human life and health, the operation of the liquid gas filling station was suspended by the Agency’s employees, and a copy of the act drawn up for the elimination of the violations was presented to the entrepreneur.
