The Maritime and Port Administration of Azerbaijan (MPAA) Vessel Traffic Management Center warns vessels about windy weather conditions.
According to the information provided to elchi from the Administration, based on the warning, the north-west and north wind that will be observed in the Caspian Sea on October 2nd during the day will continue until the morning of October 3rd.
During those days, the north-west and north wind is expected to strengthen to 18-23 m/s, occasionally up to 25-28 m/s, and up to 30 m/s in the open sea.
The wave height is predicted to reach 2.0-3.0 m, and in further development, 3.5-5.5 m.
