Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated the importance of the content of appeals regarding September 27 to be consistent with the logic of peace agreements.
elchi reports that Pashinyan spoke about this while answering journalists’ questions.
According to him, if such an appeal were published, the lack of accusations against Azerbaijan in its text would cause new criticisms.
“The text of the appeal should not deviate from the logic of the agreements reached on August 8 and the initialed agreement. In this way, we can zero out peace very quickly,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister noted that escalations have occurred at various times over the past 30 years, and people have died. According to him, the relatives of those who died in individual incidents have reported facing different attitudes at memorial events.
Pashinyan stated that a unified day of remembrance has been established for its resolution. He emphasized that appeals, commemorations, and ceremonies should be held on that day dedicated to the memory of the deceased.
“We have shown and continue to show due respect to the memory of all the deceased. I have knelt hundreds of times before them and their family members,” he noted.
