Employees of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AQTA) have conducted an investigation into the poisoning incident that occurred during a wedding ceremony at the “Gunash” restaurant in the Kurdamir region.

It was stated that the food products used at the ceremony were provided to the restaurant by the wedding host. During the investigation, samples were taken from the food products presented for consumption, from the hands of employees in contact with food at the restaurant, as well as from surfaces, tools, and equipment in the kitchen, and sent to the relevant laboratory.
The activities of the “Gunash” restaurant have been restricted until the investigation is concluded.
