The administration of US President Donald Trump has canceled more than 250,000 visas.

In an interview with “Fox News”, Piggott stated: “During the leadership of President Trump and Secretary of State (Marko) Rubio, the State Department has canceled more than 250,000 visas.”
He called this a “historic milestone” symbolizing the administration’s unwavering determination to ensure the safety of the American people.
“Every visa decision is a national security issue. Through unprecedented ongoing checks, we identify individuals who have committed crimes, supported terrorism, defrauded Americans, or abused our immigration system,” Piggott noted.
He reiterated the administration’s position that a US visa is a privilege, not a right. According to him, if you abuse that privilege, you will lose it.
On Monday, the State Department announced visa restrictions against a number of citizens from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru suspected of corruption or facilitating drug trafficking.
