In accordance with its mandate, the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of the country’s population, including raising awareness among citizens about rules of conduct in emergency situations.

In this context, the Ministry’s regional centers have held a series of events to raise awareness among residents living in flood-prone areas about the danger of floods and inundations.
Such awareness-raising events were held by the Karabakh Regional Center (RC) in the flood-prone villages of Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Beylagan, Barda, Fuzuli, Lachin, and Tartar districts; by the Aran RC in Aghdash, Goranboy, Goychay, and Kurdamir districts; by the Northern RC in Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Guba, and Gusar districts; and by the North-Western RC in Ismayilli, Gabala, Oghuz, and Balakan districts.
During the meetings held with local residents, including employees of public catering facilities and tourists, detailed information was provided on ways to protect against flood dangers and rules of conduct when facing such threats, and informative printed materials on the topic were distributed.
