The pedagogical activity of a civil servant will be regulated in a new way.
According to the news from “Elchi”, this is reflected in the draft Civil Service Code, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Legal Policy and State Building.
According to the current Law “On Civil Service”, a civil servant does not have the right to hold any elective or appointed position (except for cases of temporary replacement provided for by labor legislation), or to engage in pedagogical activities without the permission of the head of the state body where they serve, except for scientific and creative activities.
According to the draft, a civil servant does not have the right to hold any elective or appointed position (except for cases of temporary replacement in the state body where they serve and the performance of service functions for a vacant position as provided for by labor legislation), and, with the exception of scientific and pedagogical activities with the written consent of the head of the state body where they serve, does not have the right to engage in any entrepreneurial, commercial, or other paid activities during their term of service.
