Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Kevin Hamilton.

During the meeting held within the framework of the V Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the importance of long-term cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO was emphasized, and the activities carried out within the “Partnership for Peace” Program were highlighted.
The parties discussed prospects for further development of the partnership, including energy security and the protection of critical infrastructure.
Jeyhun Bayramov also provided information on recent processes in the region, including the post-conflict normalization process with Armenia, restoration and construction work carried out in the liberated territories, and measures taken to ensure sustainable peace.
Global security challenges were also discussed at the meeting, with particular emphasis on the importance of de-escalating tensions in the Middle East, adhering to international humanitarian law, and protecting the civilian population.
