“Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY) transported 13 million 882 thousand 84 tons (about 14 million tons) of cargo in January-September 2026. This is 11% more than in the same period last year.

According to the information, the volume of transit transportation increased by 15% to 5.7 million tons during the mentioned period. An increase of 20% was recorded in transit freight transportation along the East-West corridor, and 26% along the North-South direction.
In September of the current year, ADY transported 1 million 766 thousand tons of cargo, which means a 29% increase in the total freight volume and a 37% increase in transit transportation compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
