The Kremlin spokesman noted that Washington continues to link the restoration of economic relations with Moscow to the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, despite its obvious benefits.
“In other words, the main argument is that first an agreement must be reached, and then the project should be implemented. And we believe that there is no need to wait; we can act in our own interests right now,” Peskov emphasized.
