MES: 107 people at risk of drowning have been rescued this year

As of September 15 of this year, the total number of people rescued in water basins has increased from 73 to 107 compared to the same period last year.

elchi reports that this was stated by Akshin Alili, Head of the Public Relations and Propaganda Department of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), Lieutenant Colonel of Internal Service, at a briefing held regarding the end of the beach season.

It was noted that the number of people who faced the risk of drowning and were rescued, especially during the beach season, increased from 70 to 97. This represents an increase of approximately 39 percent.
