As of September 15 of this year, a total of 64 bodies have been recovered from the water by the rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in non-beach areas.
elchi reports that this was stated by Akshin Alili, Head of the Public Relations and Propaganda Department of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service, at a briefing held regarding the end of the beach season.
According to him, this figure was 85 in the same period last year, which means a decrease of approximately 25 percent.
According to the information, no deaths were recorded in the areas controlled by the MES during the beach season.
