US Embassy: Expanding Partnership with Baku in Defense Sector

U.S. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Azerbaijan, Emi Karlon, participated in the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX 2026” and “Securex Caspian”, familiarizing herself with new technologies and cooperation opportunities in the defense and security sectors.

elchi reports that this information was shared on the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan’s “X” social media account.

“Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Emi Karlon participated in the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2026) held in Baku. She familiarized herself with new technologies and cooperation opportunities in the defense and security sectors alongside American, Azerbaijani, and international partners,” the statement said.

It was noted that this year’s ADEX exhibition is notable for the extensive participation of the U.S.: “In addition to American defense industry companies participating for the first time, U.S. companies such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Ondas, SIG SAUER, Vantor, Persistent Systems, Motorola, L3Harris, Curtiss-Wright, and Space Eyes are also represented.

Within the framework of our Strategic Partnership Charter, the United States continues to expand its partnership with Azerbaijan in the defense and security sector.”
