Tbilisi remains committed to the policy of peaceful resolution of the Russia-Georgia conflict, reconciliation, and engagement with the conflict-affected population.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the country’s Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili during her speech at the UN Peacebuilding Commission Ministerial Meeting.
The Minister noted that for Georgia, maintaining peace and stability is a matter of national interest. According to her, stability has allowed for investment in the country’s infrastructure, education, healthcare, and connectivity, as well as the continuation of economic development.
