One person has died as a result of a shooting that took place on the terrace of a catering establishment in the north of Amsterdam (Netherlands).
“Elchi” reports, citing the “NU.nl” portal, that local police have released information regarding the incident.
According to the portal, the shots were fired while the establishment was full of customers.
Police officers have detained a suspect. Their identity and the motives for the crime have not yet been disclosed.
The Netherlands Custodial Institutions Agency stated that the deceased was an employee of the Zaanstad prison complex.
