The number of special educational institutions for children with limited health capacities in Azerbaijan has decreased.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the State Statistical Committee, the number of such special educational institutions in the country was 16 in the 2025–2026 academic year.
It should be noted that this figure was 21 in the 2005–2006 academic year, 19 in 2010–2011, and 17 in 2024–2025.
