A construction permit worth 6.3 billion dinars (approximately 54.3 million euros) has been approved for the infrastructure of the “EXPO 2027” international exhibition in Serbia, in which Azerbaijan will also participate.
“Elchi” reports that the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued a construction permit for the facilities intended for the needs of the “EXPO 2027” exhibition.
The decision has been officially published in the Central Registry of Unified Procedures for Issuing Construction Permits (CEOP).
According to the document, the construction work will be carried out within the framework of phase “B” of the “Best Practices and Corporate Content” project.
The work to be carried out under the project includes the construction of transport and parking areas, pedestrian walkways (promenades), sidewalks, a distribution network facility, a checkpoint, two transformer substations, and canopies, as well as the installation of hydrotechnical and electrical infrastructure.
According to the information, the initial estimated value of the planned works, excluding value-added tax (VAT), amounts to 6 billion 367 million 067 thousand 118 dinars.
It should be recalled that on September 14, when the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Serbia, Tahir Tagizade, presented his credentials to the President of that country, Aleksandar Vucic, A. Vucic expressed his gratitude for Baku’s plans to participate in the “EXPO 2027” international exhibition to be held in Belgrade next year.
