A person who committed theft from a taxi driver’s vehicle in the Nizami district of Baku has been arrested.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs provided this information to elchi.
It was reported that as a result of measures taken by police officers, 37-year-old A. Taghiyev, suspected of committing the crime, was identified and arrested.
Investigations revealed that the arrested individual, while riding as a passenger in the taxi, took advantage of the driver stepping out of the vehicle to steal 770 manats in cash, a mobile phone, and bank cards from the interior.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
