Flights of airlines belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran operating flights to Azerbaijan are being suspended.
This was reported to “Elchi” by Azerbaijan Airlines.
“Due to the new package of sanctions imposed by the USA against the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially sanctions against the aviation sector, a decision has been made to suspend the flights of Iranian airlines operating to Azerbaijan starting from September 22, 2026,” the statement said.
