In the “Power of Unity – 2026” joint military exercise involving servicemen from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, the task of liberating a ship seized by conditional terrorists, as well as rescuing hostages, has been executed.
This was reported to “Report” by the Ministry of Defense.
It was stated that patrol and landing ships of the Naval Forces were involved in the exercise organized at the “Boyuk Zira” training area located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. Military personnel from all three countries actively participated in the preparation process.
During the exercise, tasks were performed regarding the protection of maritime and coastal infrastructure, the liberation of a ship seized by terrorists and the rescue of hostages, demining of the area, landing of naval troops on the island, destruction of a terrorist base, as well as providing first aid to the wounded and their evacuation.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the exercise is to exchange experience in conducting special operations between the armies of friendly and allied countries and to improve skills in organizing mutual activities.
