10 investment projects with a total value of 389 million US dollars have been launched between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
elchi reports that this was stated in an interview with Report by Jasurbek Choriyev, Secretary General of the Permanent Secretariat of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission, who also held the position of Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan at the time the interview was prepared.
These investment projects were launched during the President of Azerbaijan’s visit to Uzbekistan on August 23-24.
“Among these projects is the construction of a network of filling stations (FS) by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). In the first phase, the construction of five filling stations is planned in the Namangan, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Sirdaryo, and Tashkent regions. In addition, the construction of the ‘Azerbaijan’ park has begun on a 4-hectare area in the ‘New Tashkent’ district,” said J. Choriyev.
